Young Involved Philadelphia (YIP) With Rebekah Gable
PA 19102, United States
We've all heard of Millennials, but what do they really mean for Philadelphia? Next year they are expected to surpass Baby Boomers as the largest living adult generation in the United States and perhaps in Philadelphia, too. Few civic organizations have had a closer view of this epoch than Young Involved Philadelphia, or YIP. Its president Rebekah Gable will explain YIP's mission of cultivating the next generation of engaged, civic-minded Philadelphians, as well as hosting one of the city's premier annual festivals, "State of Young Philly." A Senior Manager of Business Development at the Barnes Foundation and a former sales manager at the Adventure Aquarium, Gable will also discuss how YIP plans to increase civic participation and break down barriers to entry for Millennials.
