Philadelphia this year is experiencing one of the most competitive City Council primary elections in decades. One of the reasons is the impending retirement of two veterans, at-large members Blondell Reynolds Brown and William K. Greenlee. For our final meeting of the season on June 5, PCCP is honored to host these esteemed policymakers in a joint appearance offering their perspectives on the future of Philadelphia government and politics, and regaling us about their own experiences. What departing advice do they have for their successors and fellow Philadelphians? How will this year's election change the makeup and agenda of City Council? What were the high and low points of their own careers?
