PCCP welcomes Paul Levy, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Center City District. Paul Levy has been at the helm of the Center City District (CCD) since its inception in 1991. The CCD provides security, cleaning, place marketing, promotion, and planning services for the central business district. It has been a leader in advocating, planning, and implementing numerous capital improvement projects and has served as the focal point for research, analysis, and policy debates regarding the urban economy in Philadelphia and elsewhere. As a result, Paul Levy is in a unique position to give us an update on the status of Center City. What is going well? Where should we be doing better? What are the economic and political implications of the income disparities in Philadelphia and what can we do about it? What are the latest CCD projects in the pipeline?
