Now in his second term as Councilman-at-Large, Bill Green has been actively involved in issues that affect the financial health of the City of Philadelphia. These include the identification of potential budget savings as alternatives to tax increases; an analysis of the state of education and recommendations for improvement; the introduction and passage of legislation to reform the property tax system; and, the introduction and passage of legislation to amend business taxes. Councilman Green continues to advocate changes in Philadelphia's tax structure to make Philadelphia more competitive. He will share his views on tax reform that he believes will turn conventional thinking "on its head".
