Leslie Smallwood-Lewis and Gregory Reaves are co-owners of Mosaic Development Partners, a prominent Philly-based Black-run real estate development firm. They will talk about Mosaic's mission that goes beyond financial profits and their own projects, including the Sharswood redevelopment, the Navy Yard expansion, the Rev. Leon H Sullivan Community Impact Center under development, and the Sixers' proposed facility at Market East, among others. Mosaic (www.mosaicdp.com) was established in 2008 with the intention to help "revitalize neighborhoods and marginalized communities." It prioritizes community and cultural sensitivity, and hires people from groups that have been historically excluded from the development industry.
