PCCP is very excited to announce we are back to in-person luncheons this Fall for the first time in quite a while! As you know, meeting leaders and policy-makers in person and networking with fellow engaged Philadelphians is a great way to better understand what's happening, what's coming and perhaps support and help to shape the work going forward over a nice lunch at McCormick & Schmick's at 1 South Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA, on October 26, 2023 at 12 noon. We hope through our luncheons to gain deeper insight and have more personal conversations . To open our new season Anuj and Prema Gupta will present : Newly appointed President & CEO of the Welcoming Center and President & CEO of the Center City District respectively. Our conversation will focus on their two new career moves and what they see for our City as we await major City Administrative changes. Anuj has already stepped down as Congressman Dwight Evans' Chief of Staff into his new role, as the President and CEO of The Welcoming Center, which works with new immigrant Philadelphians to help them to reach their potential and promoting "inclusive economic growth through immigrant integration." Prema will be stepping up into a new role at the Center City District, taking over as President and CEO from Paul Levy. This is a huge change given that Paul has been there from the beginning and we'll be able to hear about Prema's vision going forward.
